I bought 4 Kotak Life Insurance policies, each of Rs 25000. I paid 1 installment for two policies and 3 installments for 2 policies. The Fund was not doing well, in fact worst, therefore I did not pay for 2 installments for other 2 policies. One day I received a letter from the company saying the policies are lapsed, and sent a check of Rs 1500 for the two policies in which I invested Rs. 50000. I had been to the office and had quarrel with the officers. Based on my experience, many of the customers who were in the office asked for refund there itself.
Kotak is cheater, they collect money from customers and paid 50% of customers money to the agents. They dont switchover the funds to profitable mutual funds. The agents talk sweat and collect money from the customer. Once the money is collected, they will never pick your phone nor show their black faces to you. I absolutely lost belief in Kotak as well as Mahindra, as Mahindra is there allies.
