People forget the basic purpose of insurance- It is safety, not investment.
For this various term plans are in market, but they are not popular. that is why various plans with investment options are available. while purchasing ULIP's , one should be careful & should know about various fund options. to get maximum maturity you should carefully use switching options. ULIP's are just like MF's which are market dependent.
My questions are same- did YOU ask any rebate from agent? your agent is capable of understanding all issues?
