This movie is a masterpiece of indian cinema. Sanjeev kumar and jaya bachan acted brilliantly playing dumb and deaf persons, who come to know each other. Sanjeev kumar is just great, like he was born to do this role. Movie is inspirational and tearjerker at the same time. And gulzar direction is above all. The simplicity and the control of the movie is handled very well.This also tells us that people who are suffering from disabilities are discriminated in society. Sanjeev kumar;s role is shown as a hard working, honest and aggressive person. Also jaya is also great playing the leading role.
The performances are the best performances given in indian cinema history. The background score of the movie is much better than the soundtrack of the movie. This movie is also inspiring to be hard worker and be honest if u wanna be happy in real life wanna taste the real enjoyment of the real life. This movie is also full of emotions, tragedy and nice picture. And also this movie is speechless. can;t be explain in words. u have to watch the movie to experience the real piece of cinema a must see different movie coming out of indian cinema , may be the best dramas of 70s
