Off late I have been addicted to online shopping. Have purchased many products form many sites. Some very good, some ok. Some deals were simply too good.


However there's always an exception in every case. This one is just that exception.


Luck By Chance:


I happened to come across this site named koovs.com ( http://www.koovs.com).Just saw a deal where I had to pay Rs.25 to get Rs.250 off on any product on some other site. I wanted to buy speakers for my pc so I bought that deal & redeemed it on that other site & got Creative speakers at a good rate.So at first I quite liked this site as I got a good deal.May be because it was not directly involved in the deal, I got a good experience buying the voucher & redeeming it on letsbuy.com


Second Time Not Lucky:


I was a regular visitor to koovs after that & one day I got a deal which was useful for me. There was this deal for moser baer headphones for some 270 bucks + extra delivery charges. I wanted to buy one since a long time so I bought it immediately from this site. Well the deal is still there & it claims to deliver the product within 5-7 working days. I placed my ordered on 20th May 2011 & was expecting it to get delivered by 27th.


Tarik pe Tarik, Mail pe Mail:


On 27th May I wrote them a mail enquiring about the status of the delivery to which they replied it will be delivered within 5-7 working days, so I was like it would get delivered by 30th so I didn't respond.


Next I mailed them on 8th June enquiring for the status but this time the mail was unresponded.So again I wrote a mail again on 15th to which they bluntly replied 'ok we will give you the refund'.Now this got into my nerves & I mailed them again saying how can they reply so casually without even trying to get my product delivered, to which they replied they would give me the docket number next day.


I called on their number which they answered after several attempts & responded saying that they would get it delivered in a day or two & would get back to me after talking to the merchant.The call never arrived.


Kuch Samay Baad:


I got busy with my work & forgot about all this so just overlooked the matter. Last week I was just searching for some mail when I came across the mail I had sent them, so I called on their number & was very angry this time. I was like 'what the hell are you guys upto, it's been 3 months & yet you haven't responded.' I gave them my voucher number & the lady on the phone asked me 'you ordered for a t-shirt,right?'


This further annoyed me, these people didn't even know what I had ordered. I gave her all my details & took her class on the same, so she responded saying that she would get back to me in an hour. I agreed & when there was no response for 2 hours, I called back.


The lady this time said I m trying to get the status from the merchant so was waiting for that.WTF, that's not my pain if the merchant hasn't delivered, it's yours.I asked for a final answer to which she said I would call you within an hour & would give you the final word.


Again I took her word & waited, but the phone never rung. I called back but they didn't answer my call & they still haven't responded.


My Last Step:


Finally I had to write this review. I was going to write it in june itself,had written a few lines but then saved it in my draft. I thought of giving them a second (or maybe a 4th-5th) chance & I thought that sometimes orders might get mis-placed or forgotten in a big company. But despite me contacting them more than 20 times, these people are not bothered to respond.This is the limit.


How can a company be so un-professional??? These people claim to be giving good deals throught the country & fail to do such a small thing. I avoid negative reviews on anything, but koovs just got into my head. I faced a similar situation with one more site but they gave me a refund in a month & apologised saying that they were out of stock, so I didn't write about them.But koovs just crossed the limit.


I don't know how it delivers to other customers but my experience was the worst.I just hope they either get a little professional or just shut down their company, coz if they work like this, it'a anyways gonna get closed.


In my opinion, avoid koovs.com or try your luck.
