How you wish that you travel to your destination and alight from the train fresh as you boarded the train? Thats exactly what I experienced with my 2 time journey in Kokan Kanya to Goa. Journey in trains were never so comfortable and enjoying. I am specially talking about the 3 tire A/C compartment in the train. The ticket for Goa from Bombay is very reasonable. Be sure that you have a confirm ticket. The train leave Bombay CST(VT) station at 10:50 pm. I board the train at Dadar station which comes around 11:00 pm. As soon as you step inside u will be greeted by the chill air inside this A/C compartment. The seats are ok but not very good. Yea but the A/C system is better. You will feel cold in the night. The best thing about this trains is that there are attendants around for your help. ( I dont know if it is available in other classes). They will offer you blankets, pillows and bedsheets. Please remember that they even has cloth napkins, which they give on demand (if u forget to take your own). Then there are guard in the train who take rounds of the compartment at regular intervals. So there is a sense of security. Also I noticed that they even has cell phones on demand available on the train. You have to pay for the service. So if yo want to do an urgent call u can avail of this facility on board. The toilets are not so good but its ok for use. This train also have a pantry car on board. Earlier the food cost was included in the ticket only, but now they have discontinued. You have to buy food, people come around selling all sorts of food and drink stuff. But this can be annoying too at times. The vendors come and go at a regular intervals and disturb you, so forget about privacy (if you are not in a cabin). And if you seated at the entrance u tended to get more disturb, because the vendors keep on opening the door. In the A/C you have a good night sleep and you wake up in Goa. Get up wash your face, have a good tea/coffee and break fast, get ready cause Goa is here. The train reaches Goa at around 10:30 (if the train is on time). As you get down you have a fresh feeling, just ready to jump in the hot waters of Goa. Have a good holidays as you waive off Kokan Kanya!!!!
