Siddu (Siddarth) is a happy go lucky young man, just finished his MBA, but seems to have very little care or seriousness on what to do next. He does most teenagers do, trying to flirt with as many girls as possible.

Geeta (Tamannah) is lovingly brought up by her father Subramanyam (Nazar) who is a well respected village head, and is determined to send her to higher studies in Hyderabad while staying with her uncle Gachibowli Diwakar (Brahmanandam).

Geeta initially resents Siddu but starts loving him and he gives it back in kind. However the story takes a turn when her father is opposed to this marriage because he fears Siddu does not know what a family is or what values a family shall have (Siddu's parents, Prakash Raj and Ramyakrishna, have separated 18 years ago because of ideological differences). The rest of the story meanders its way to the logical conclusion and his parents uniting as well.

The first half is all fun and very enjoyable, the second half has quite a bit of sentiment and is somewhat slow. Siddhu, seems to have the uncanny ability to pick up these roles (Bommarillu, Oye) and maybe it is his intention to be typecasted or that is what he is getting I am not sure.

Anyhow, he delivers a smiling and energetic performance in the movie and again his very presence makes the viewer tuned to it. Tamannah delivers a under-cooked performance, she had so much scope to be more expressive, but seems to be somewhat undone.

Prakash Raj, so easily meshes into the father role, and it was a delight. RamyaKrishna, seemed to be always depressed and angry looking. Brahmanandam, in a cricket crazy role, and Venu Madhav (Siddu's friend) provide the laughs and are very effective, and not over the top.

Couple of songs are very good (Egire, Anandhama). The production values are very high and the bright and light colour combinations are very well picturized.

Some of the best scenes are:

After borrowing the scooter from Geeta, Siddu's friend, teases a girl, while siddu being the driver, and the traffic police note down the plate number. After the RC book check, they come to Diwakar's home (the scooter of Geeta is registered to him) and ask do you know what happened yesterday. Diwakar, being a cricket man, thinking that they are questioning him related to an indian win the day before, replies, oh yes, a memorable day, I swashbuckled, butchered, and so and so forth, the police ask him, do you know how long has this been going on, Diwakar replies, several years, and says I made them do it, then the police clean bowling him like on a cricket pitch is well picturized.

Geeta, when she was very young, her father walked on a burning coal pyre so that her fever gets reduced, confides in Siddu that having a belief in something will reduce the pain. One day she gets robbed of her jewels, and in the process gets injured, siddu believes that he will fast so that she recovers quickly, and then he gets called to a restaurant, where Geeta is busy munching on food, but he stays hungry.

Siddu brings brinjal curry, a delicacy of her mom, to his father's house, and he relishes eating it, and his father is very tempted, but because of ego, starts relishing his cook's food, but one could see the anguish, sorrow on his face at the same time. The downside is the movie length is quite long (close to 2 hours 45 minutes). The movie also gets into the preaching oriented space, which could have been avoided.
