Koi Mil Gaya....Hrithik Khil Gaya. Review on Koi Mil Gaya

Koi Mil Gaya KMG Koi Mil Gaya KMG Koi Mil Gaya KMG Koi Mil Gaya KMG........it's everywhere n anywhere, u see around in bombay and you will find the posters and the hoardings with Hrithik, Preity Zinta and the Kids around.....with so much hype around the expectations when you go to see the movie is enormous and I must say thou the movie is just above average, its Hrithik and Preity Zinta who rock all the way throughout the movie and live upto your expectations

The movie starts with Rekha remembering her hubby Rakesh Roshan who plays a self proclaimed space research specialist and has made a special computer for sending signals to outer space to find out if ther's any form of life outhere and finally he gets lucky and the aliens respond to his AUM signal which according to him is a universal word for god and religion, having recieved the signals he rushes to the Space research center to inform all the happenings to higher authorities but they all make fun of him and ignore him all the way, while going back on the way with his wife Rekha he sees the spaceship and in the process meets with an accident and dies on the spot but Rekha escapes with few injuries

Rekha then shifts her base to Canada to Kasauli in India where she works in a bank and Hrithik studies in a school in 7th standard though he outta be in college with all the big guys. Hrithik as an unborn child was mentally injured when the accident happened and his mental growth had stopped while his body growth was normal, so he's like a child in a man's body

The movie then moves at a brisk pace with fun & frolic between Hrithik and the kids, all the masti in the school. Preity Zinta also come in the town to stay and befriends Hrithik and the whole gang, which makes her friend Rajat Bedi angry cuz she starts spending most of her time with Hrithik and starts liking him.

One fine day Hrithik discovers the computer his dad had made to discover life in outerspace and while fidgiting with the computer Hrithik and Preity manage to send signals to outerspace which again brings the aliens down to earth. The earth shakes, lights go off and weird things happen as they land in Kasauli, the whole town is amazed by the sheer sight of the spaceship. This leads to total chaos and the aliens while returning back leave one behind, JAADU

The story then revolves around Hrithik and Jaadu and how Hrithik saves Jaadu from the Local Police and the Space Authorities and manages to send him back to where he belongs and in return Jaadu with his special power manages to change Hrithik into a complete normal man and then Preity falls in love with him and life goes on happily

Rakesh Roshan has used the same usual bollywood storyline but manages to keep the audience engrossed

thru visuals in the movie and the alien being thrown in for some novelty but it is Hrithik who is I believe is phenomenal in the movie

Hrithik has surely come a long way with KMG, he excels in every scene of the movie, be it the child voice modulation with his dialogue delivery, the expressions he makes, the anger he exudes in action scenes, the helplessness he shows when he is insulted throughout the movie, the dances ofcourse are outta world in each song. He surely will win laurels for this movie....way to go man

Preity Zinta looks gorgeous and compliments Hrithik in each scene. She actually blows your mind in somes scenes with her beauty....Mindblowing , She and Hrithik make a perfect pair

Rekha as Hrithik's mother is well cast and does a good job but does not get much scope to perform as her role is small

The Alien Jaadu looks kiddish and artificial but will rule with the kids who will surely love it

Johny Lever plays a sindhi Policeman and is hilarious to the tilt, you all will love the way he talks in sindhi and makes those funny faces

The kids are cool and cum up with a decent performance, Rajat Bedi is good

Rest of the caste is okay

Overall the movie is worth a watch just for Hrithik all the way and to an extent Preity Zinta who looks gorgeous in the movie....go 4 it

hey hey hey wait......here comes the best part of the movie watchin for me, how could I end the review without mentioning this incident....:-)

This was a special press screening which I was invited for at SUN CITY multiplex in mumbai suburbs

I took the corner seat in the second row from the top and was watching the movie and enjoying it until a journo friend sitting besides me taps up n tells me that look on your right, I casually looked and was amazed to see Hrithik sitting on the stairs and watching the movie, I just looked at him twice to confirm thn called him and congratulated him on his performance in the movie, he was there for an hr and thn 5 minutes to the interval went off leaving me amazed.....rocking dude must say....quite down to earth......:-)
