Bollywood is trying different experiments!We`ve seen Bhoots,Saayas and now this week we have an alien.ALIEN IN BOLLYWOOD?.Well,that`s true.Bollywood`s first sci-fi thriller,and the world`s first musical science fiction,Koi Mil Gaya,is the new craze of Bollywood.This sounds to be a very different subject for a film industry in which mostly,love stories or family dramas,are made,but many different films have proven that Bollywood has/is changed/changing!
THE FILM:
Filmkrafts production`s ''Koi Mil Gaya'',directed by Rakesh Roshan is a science fiction film about an alien.It stars Hrithik Roshan,Rekha,Rakesh Roshan,Preity Zinta,Prem Chopra,Rajat Bedi and Johnny Lever.It is one of the most awaited film of this year because of the following reasons:
1.Hrithik Roshan was introduced in Bollywood,through the blockbuster Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai,which was directed by his father.Now that his films like Mujhse Dosti Karoge or Main Prem Ki Deewaani Hoon etc.,flopped this film will give him the success he wants,in the role of a mentally ill boy!
2.This is the first film about alien in Bollywood,so obviously,people would like to see a desi alien!
3.The makers of Independence Day and Godzilla have given the special effects of this movie!
4.Rakesh Roshan,is back after 3 years,with the success of Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai!
5.Hrithik Roshan lost alot of weight for his role in this movie!
6.The film was viewed by the Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpaayee,before the actual release of this film!
7.The toy of the alien(Jaadoo),of this film will be sold worldwide,after the release of this film!

THE CHARACTERS AND PERFORMANCES:
1.Rohit(Hrithik Roshan):There is an 11 year old boy,in the body of an adult.This is Rohit!Sweet,innocent,childish and honest.When he wasn`t born his mother had a car accident,due to which he became mentally ill!People find him irritating but he has his own world.He has a friend,Nisha,6 kids as his companionsand now he has got someone as a friend-AN ALIEN!Hrithik Roshan after all those sweet boy characters is back as a mentally challenged boy!This character for him,is very challenging and he has lived the role of Rohit.While watching this film,you`ll not feel as if you`re watching a filmstar but you`ll feel as if you`re watching Rohit.This is how much Hrithik Roshan has made his character look believable!
2.Nisha(Preity Zinta):Nisha is cute,friendly,cheerful and lively!She is a very good friend of Rohit and understands his feelings very well!She always supports Rohit and is completely in love with him.This love is not the one where boy and girl fall in love and want to marry each other,but this is a motherly love!Preity Zinta as Nisha,looks beautiful and in some scenes performs very well,but it si hrithik Roshan who steals the show!Still,Preity Zinta`s presence can be felt!
3.Sonia Mehra(Rekha):Sonia Mehra,is a widow,who was the wife of a scientist.She has a mentally challenged son,Rohit!In an accident,she lost her husband,and she was pregnant at that time,so Rohit`s brain was damaged!Rekha was last time seen in Bhoot where she left a mark,in a supporting role.Here also,in a supporting role,she leaves a mark!
4.Sanjay Mehra(Rakesh Roshan):Sanjay Mehra is a scientist,who is researching on life in other planets.An unfortunate,incident takes place,when he dies in a car accident!Rakesh Roshan,himself,being a director played Sanjay`s role.When the film will move further,the viewer wil forget him!
5.Raj Saxena(Rajat Bedi)Raj saxena,is Rohit`s neighbour,who bullies him and makes fun of him.He likes Nisha,but is jealous of Rohit,because most of the time she remains with him.Rajat Bedi is just about okay in a not-so-important role!
6.The super six(Anuj Pandit,Hansika Motwani,Pranita Bishnoi,Jai Choksi,Mohit Makkad,Omkar Purohit):These are 6 kids,who are the best friends of Rohit and love him.They are friendly and confident.The six kids,look cute and perform well.Some will find them irritating,but they look cute to me!
7.Jaadoo(The alien):Jaadoo,is the alien in this film.His skin colour is blue and he has large,bean-shaped eyes with a strange shaped head.Jaadoo-the alien took eight months to be created.Some will be disappointed by his look,because people might be expecting him to look like the alien of E.T,whose skin colour would be brown and he must be having expressive plus naughty eyes!If it would have been like the alien of E.T,we must have said,that they`ve copied the alien and now that he is different,people will be disappointed!So what could the filmmakers do?In my opinion,the alien of this film looks COOL!
Prem Chopra and Johnny Lever lend a commendable support.Mukesh Rishi as the cop is alright!
THE STORY:
Sanjay Mehra,is a scientist who is researching on life existence in other planets.Successfully,he finds out, what he wants to but an unfortunate incindent takes place.A car accident in which he dies,while his wife,Sonia Mehra,gives birth to a mentally challenged child called,Rohit.After many years,Rohit and his friend Nisha,discover the computer,which belonged to sanjay Mehra,Rohit`s father.Rohit asks Nisha how to use it.One night,Rohit,plays with it and suddenly something happens.A spaceship,from an other planet enters the world.One of the alien is left alone in the earth,while the others,leave and go to their planet!Now,the lonely alien meets Rohit and becomes his friend!
ARE THERE ANY ALIENS,IN REAL?MY OPINION:
Well,I think,if we humans,in Earth can live so why cant life exist in other planet/s?Who knows?This is an interesting topic.Though I`m not so much interested in science or mad about it,but this topic is one of my favourite.I many times try to find about life in other planets,through books or internet.What do you all think?Can life be possible in other planets???
