Its Magic. Review on Koi Mil Gaya

Yes Hrithik’s magic has worked again.With ”Koi Mil Gaya” Hrithik is back in the reckoning proving his critics wrong. It’s a sci-fi film about an alien visiting planet earth

and becoming friends with Hrithik,Preity & the kids in the film.

Hrithik’s body language as an adult still caught in childhood is excellent.The way he shows the expressions on his face, the movements of his hands, his walking style is simply superb.

Preity ‘s presence is sweet and pleasant. The dance sequences involving Hrithik and her make you sit glued to the seats. The songs are melodious and choreography is excellent.

Rekha(She is my all-time favourite) perfectly plays the role of a mother.Its really heartening when she says “If normal people are like you then I prefer my son who is abnormal” to the guys who beat her innocent son up.

Rakesh Roshan has brought out the talent in his son very well. Among the films he has directed “Khoon Bhari Maang”, “Karan Arjun”, “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai” and now “Koi Mil Gaya” are my favourites.

When the basketball game sequence is shown you feel its taking too long but then the alien “Jadoo” paces it up.The kids too have done a good job.

One of the scenes to watch out for is when Hrithik speaks about different kinds of “paagalpan” to Preity’s parents which makes them look dazed. He is brilliant in it.

At the end when Hrithik is back to his earlier self after Jadoo is sent back home and Hrithik loses all the power you feel sad.When the bad guys come and challenge him when he is with Preity to hit the ball after he has lost power you feel “Oh no…I don’t want to see him get beaten up”…and voila….when Hrithik hits the ball it sends the guys fleeing from the scene as Jadoo has given the power back to his friend.Yes that forms a apt and happy ending.

It’s a must see movie for Hrithik fans(Iam one too)
