No one can brew coffeeand conversations better than Karan Johar does.
Well that’s what the idiot box has got to say about him. And poor people like us, who have nothing better to do on a Friday evening or whenever there is a rerun, have to… well… people have mixed opinions… so I really dunno how many feel the way I do about the show.

It’s not a show that’s sugar and spice, and everything nice. It has drama and emotions, glitz and glamour, and a tad bit controversy. Yeah the controversy bit (read the only interesting part of the hour-long show) is when the lie detector goes Beep Beep and the celeb guest’s arch rival speaks of a much- popularised secret.
I dislike Karan Johar, but I guess he’s doing a not too bad job by being warm and witty, effortlessly doing away with the formality that exists between the host and guests in the show.
And, the guest, well there are actually two of them who probably have some common string – maybe contemporaries, friends, the best or the worst on/off-screen pairs

The set is brighter and a little frivolous.
A more friendly and ‘fun’ kinda discussion
Everybody is bitten by the “Karan Johar + Aditya Chopra + Yash Chopra = Bollywood” syndrome
The Rapid Fire round, where Karan asks qs like, vote for the better b – Beyonce or Jlo?
At the end of which… Oh La La, the star wins a Koffee With Karan, Coffee Basket. Wouldn’t people give away the Oscar for that one?

Coming up this week is an ‘attractive duo’ Gurinder Chadha and Farah Khan; so that makes it 3 women on the saw (including Karan). This is definitely something I don’t wanna see, unless I’m stuck at home with absolutely NOTHING to do… oh that reminds me, it’s the 24th of December, thank god, I’m out!
