The Good
I didn’t watch the first show but I watched the one with kareena & rani and I must admit I found the show pretty entertaining. I especially enjoyed the session where Karan was at his bitchiest self, putting kareena on a spot with all her past, present comments. Kareena handled the same very well. Rani did come off a bit bland. The only time she showed some spark was when she commented on Preity. Otherwise the Koffee did contain enough adrenaline to await the next sip. The other episode I liked was that with Zeenat Aman & Hema Malini. Both of them were so refreshingly honest and disarming that along with the Kareena episode I think that was one of the better episodes. The preity saif episode provided some unintentional humor with preity cluelessly going on about her skimmerish (instead of skirmish) with Sharukh and saif sporting a stumped look while trying to figure out what skimmerish was.
The Bad
However Most of the episodes were not that good. I especially found the episode with Abhishek & Preity extremely annoying what with them behaving like overgrown kids and cracking stale jokes. The arora sisters episode was far more entertaining. The one with the Deol brothers was very bland
The Ugly
The last episode was a disaster. The whole episode was very juvenile, full of self-praise and as one reviewer rightly pointed out a Simi Grewal clone. SLB, farah & farhan were used as props which I think must have been pretty insulting for them.
Final Analysis
Karan should have maintained his bitchy self and tried to get some interesting quotes from the celebrities after all given the clout that he has in the industry only he would have been able to get away with it. Instead we found him going over the top with praises with his favourites like AB (both Sr. Jr.), SRK.HR. Preity, Kajol etc., being more formal with the older group and being bitchy with the younger yet to graduate to his fave level stars. Therefore a show that had a potential to become a real guilty pleasure turned boring and stale very soon. And the last episode almost undid all his good work in the previous episodes.
