I bought this camera at least 5 years ago. I bought it because I couldn't afford anything else. I didn't expect much for the money I paid, but it has surprised me. For the time, the picture quality was pretty good, it was easy to use and battery life was decent.
Obviously, with a low price, it's not going to be all great. The 3X Optical Zoom is nothing great and the shutter speed is slow. If you plan to shoot moving objects, this is not a good camera. Video quality is fair. One more positive is that this camera has held up very well. It has outlasted a Canon which my brother bought at the same time. After all these years, it still works perfectly! I have used it in extreme humidity, heat, rain and even cold snowy conditions.
