Queen of Hills and this title suits kodaikanal. I have been there for about 3 years doing my degree and I loved this place. People who have seen Ooty, Shimla, Munnar, its time to explore this hill station and preferably do not get caught up by any tourist guides since they take you to the place where its inside the town circle like Kodia lake, Suicide point etc etc.

So let's start exploring few place which would rather help you to make this trip more memorable & as well as nostalgic. We all know that the suicide point which is further renovated and kept as a show case for all of us is not the "actual suicide point". Want to know the real place?

Alright, hold your breath and for those who have gone to kodaikanal, the place comes just above the lane where suicide point is being situated and we had a tough time visiting the place due to the mist & once when it was cleared, we had a shock of our lives... It had no barriers, just "us and sky"... a must see scenic gift.

Next comes, "Devil's kitchen" which is further re-named as "Guna Cave" since kamal hassan had shot a movie named as "Guna".

Then for the adventure people, can always visit the fiery falls which is quite dangerous as well as thrilling. Well, I should'nt spoil the thrill talking about this place. Kodiakanal is always known for its natural beauty and if you haven't visited the Dolphin nose, should try this place out. Its a must-see place where you will almost touch the clouds.

Guys/Gals, interested in trekking? This is the best place. Oh yes, should be careful about leach. And let me not talk so much about the place and stop. Shall I talk in general about the accomodation. Well, for those people who be there for honey moon, shall always look out for a cottage which is preferably constructed by the early britisher's. If you in kodaikanal, do explore the place rather getting cheated by a tourist guide. The place has so much to see. So much to talk about. Let me stop for now... Want to know more about kodia? You can always ask me because 150 words are not sufficient to talk about this... Cheers

Must See Spot : Fiery Falls, Shembagnur Hill Valley, Berijam Lake, Bison Valley, Suicide Spot [ Original Spot ]
