Kobe Bryant the All Star. Review on Kobe Bryant

Ah, Kobe Bryant, the player, one of the most hyped basketball players to come out of high school and college. A couple of hyped failures have happened over the years:

Glenn Robinson, Milwaukee Bucks first round pick, never did anything in Milwaukee and his basketball career has been a failure and a joke. Juwan Howard , former Michigan Wolverine teammate of All Star Chris Webber, but likewise his career has gone down the toilet, however he still gets his millions, but no respect though.

So there have been many young players who have been drafted in the NBA many failed for 2 main reasons:

1) They're greedy, never have really been tested in the pros and they will have it easy in the NBA

2) They've displayed talent, but they put their needs ahead of the teams need, in short all they care about is themselves and their nice big contracts (like Shaq when he came first came out for Orlando).

This kind of attitude has led many of these promising talent to be discarded as garbage so would Kobe be put in the same light? Yes and No

Of course when Kobe came out of high school, the critics said he would never last

and this is due to the fact that Kobe never played college basketball and yet he

has this fat $100 million dollar with the Lakers. However Bryant impressed the critics in his head to head matches with the top talent of the NBA Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, and Chris Webber to name.

The Lakers however even with Kobe still got knocked out of the playoffs but when Shaq joined the picture as the Center, Kobe now had more room and space to perform his shooting, dribbling and all around good play as a starting guard. When the Lakers made in to the finals in 2000, it lead to another Three Peat, nothing like this has been done until the Chicago Bulls did it in 1991. Kobe led the way putting forth huge numbers like 20 to 30 pts per game, hitting the big shot when he had to, making his teammates better, and just being an all around good player.

However, last year of course the bomb came down on Kobe the allegations in Colorado put a severe damp on his image. Kobe Bryant at first denied having sexual relations with this young lady, a really stupid move that came biting him back in the leg. After this colossal blunder , Kobe hasn't been seen in the same light and deservedly so. Here we have a multimillion dollar basically getting paid for playing a kids game, doesn't realize that he is a role model for kids, and he pulls of the stupidest move of his life. Bad move by Kobe. Not only that but Kobe is seen as an International Spokesman for the NBA across so this is even worse for him.

As Lakers enter the NBA Playoffs for another exciting postseason several questions arise. Will they win? Can Kobe focus on Basketball while his personal life is turned upside down? Will he use as motivation or an excuse to fail. Will he be found guilty? Undoubtedly the worst case scenario is the last one, no matter what Kobe has done in the past, it will all come down to this ruling in Colorado, a sad reality for a game that has done so much only for it to be in the same wastebasket of trash that has previoulsy been seen in the NBA.

I am an avid admirer of Kobe I tape virtually all his game,because I know talent and skill when I see and I see basketball as a great art, with few people knowing how to pull the most amazing move. I also like to tape (via my friend) Bryant's game because we are witnessing the games of one of the best players in the world.

When Kobe's career is over, the tapes will serve as a great glimpse in the brilliant career of Bryant.

As Laker's enter the playoffs, all eyes will be on them and a closer eye will be on Kobe, number 8, will he rise to the challenge of the NBA Teams and rise to the occasion, how will he handle the conclusion of his court case, this is undoubtedly the most pressure he has felt in all his life.

All I can say is were in for a heck of a postseason and Bryant will be one of the star players in it, so all eyes on Kobe.
