Yes it has big names, Tom cruise, Cameron diaz....& a very shallow plot .So what you get is a pot pouriee...of senseless shower of bullets...the great romance while the action sequence is on...A nerd who has developed the ultimate power battery...the goons & CIA or was it FBI chasing the nerd & the battery..Of course tom cruise is a saviour ..protector of some sort. Cameron Diaz is visibly older...no effort to hide her ageing...guess the makers were too busy with creating action sequence. Kudo's to action sequence whether it was car chasing...or on the bike or the train...or bombing a remote island...this movie leaves you content with action .Tom cruise as a actor is wasted...the plot was written with tom cruise in mind, than first having a plot then casting tom cruise in it. Tom cruise is invincible. "I am good at what I do" movie is full of such colourful lines.Technically movie has everything...but that click is missing...you don't connect with the actors or plot of the movie. Had it not been for A list stars...movie would have no takers...
A genuinely mediocre movie....can be given a MISS.
