The Kite Runner is the debut novel by the afghan writer Khalid Hosseini. One of teachers suggested me this novel and i'd be forever thankful to her for suggesting me such good work.
The novel is based on the outskirts of Afghanistan where the protagonist lives and shows various soviet and political events and how the people around there get affected from it. The story is very inspiring as the protagonist Amir is full of hope and is shown to be an optimistic boy. This novel has shades of atonement in various places and also explores the area of violence and guilt.
I'd suggest my viewers to read this novel for it's inspiring protagonist and beautifully mentioned hidden political agendas of war and terrorism.
