Khaled never ceases to amaze me!. Review on Kite Runner, The - Khaled Hosseni

Having an inclination towards reading more practical fictions I got to know about'The kite runner'. Khaled's simple and elaborate writing style gives you an insight of what the situation really is and visualising it becomes quite easy. The book's vivid description of a war trodden place(in this case Afghanistan) and a boy's relations with his friend has been told in an impeccable fashion bound to impress you. This book shows guilt and redemption like no other and the efforts done to overcome that guilt is impressive and devastating at the same time.This book has nice action jumping out of every page and you can hardly keep yourself from turning them. To be exact, this book just doesn't fall in the category of the novels which can bore you given its immersive story line. This is khaled hosseini's first book and he seems to have done wonders in his first one. Being the new york times best seller for two consecutive years and having a film made on it is a proof enough to validate my statement. Hosseni has two more books to his excellence namely' a thousand splendid suns' and' and the mountains echoed' . Both of them are supposed to have surpassed the general public and critics expectations as of now, so undoubtedly,all his books fall in the category of'must read'.
