Marry the first one who proposes to you. If you feel attracted tosomeone, immediately tell that you love them and live happilythereafter. Don't waste time, otherwise you will repent later. How faryou will buy this suggestion? This is the message this movie has tooffer.
It is a story of 3 college friends one is rich (John/Ashish Chaudhary),one is orphan (Amit/Yash Tonk) and one a roadside Romeo (Siddharth/ArshadWarsi). John is deeply in love with Natasha (Aarti Chabria)for last 5 years. He is yet to express his love. Now the exam resultsare over and one day Natasha leave the city without telling. Desperatejohn is now almost like a mad person. Being friends, Sid and Amit plotto divert his attention by renting out Chameli (aka Julie) (Shweta Menon) but failed in the attempt. Then, suddenly,John gets attracted to Sheetal (Uditha Goswami)who have a hidden agenda too. Sheetal decide to break the friendshipbetween them. Watch the movie more to see whether friendship win orlove…or both and how.
I haven't heard about the movie earlier sothere was zero expectation from the film. In that sense, yes, the movieis not a complete let down. There is not much in the film for one wholooks for essence, content etc. However, it is a brainless and mindlessromantic (Some times pathetic too) comedy. The movie does keep oneengaged in one way or other. Few eye lids (and eye brows too) are boundto rise and some may even say 'sheeee' (Not to say Sheetal) whilewatching the film. There is some skin show that doesn't offend much,but some double meaning dialogues/situations could have been avoided.(The finger licking and nivea puns – Wonder how low we can reach) It isnot a madhouse run after another kind comedy, but a bit idiotic andcharacter based.
Ashsis Chaudhary is good in the role. Arshad Warsi tried his best to energize the situation with the limited scope he got. Yash TonkI thought was a wrong choice for the role (one which may suite most toRajpal Yadav) and he took time to establish. For Yash's credit, he isgood in the second half. AartiChabria just did the job of a brainless beauty where Uditha Goswami got a meatier role and she played it confidently. (Skin Show and action, Uditha done better than the other two.) Sweta Menononly had a small role but she did what she is asked to do. (Would liketo see Mallika Sherawat and Sweta Menon as sisters in some film whereShweta leaves the same vibe (less intense) as that of Mallika)
Musicof the film is good. Choreographer did a good job in trying to make thesongs colourful within the limited resources provided. Cinematographywas just ok where it doesn't impress much but it doesn't disappoint too.
Themakers knows that they are not going to get a big audience for the filmand tried to attract youngsters, especially college students with someadded skin show and few scenes which they may like to giggle together.However, the modern day college students too are grown up and theirperspectives are much different from that of some 10years back.
Overall,Kisse Pyaar Karoon is a brainless, mindless comedy one can watch tospend few hours after a busy weekend. You are bound to criticize themovie but it will not strain your brain muscles but relax it a bit.
