Saw Kisna yesterday ...and I want to warn u before u see it.....Don't see it!
Scene-1

''Lady Catherine'' has come to India and she wants to give 3,500 Crore
rupees as a donation !!!
(Mukesh and Anil together might have lesser money than that !!)
But for her.... its peanuts.
All the states are eager to get this donation !!!!!
who will get this largesse ????
CONFUSION !!!
Then, our tourism minister comes to her and asks her to see this country so that she can make up her mind !!
She asks him whether he can show her the real India !!!
MORE CONFUSION !!!
...no one knows wat real India is !!!
She says...she knows wat real India is...its devprayag !!
...noone knows where the hell that is ... !!!
Scene-2

She takes everyone to devprayag and tells that this is where she was
born...and brought up till 5.
Scene-3 flashback

Little Kisna is a flute player who enchants all the little girls
(including little catherine) with his bansi makin little laxmi dance with envy !!!
catherines dad is a brutal british officer and dissaproves her love and sends her packin bak to london.
Heres the messed up part...
catherine grows into this gorgeous female and one who cant forget kisna's flute ..........well...
I cant even remember kisna's flute 15 minutes after the movie...but sure enuf.......she remembers it even after 15 years !!
And kisna grows into a guy who is
1) Warrior (against british raj)
2) Poet (who writes songs for raas leela)
3) Music director (for all his poems)
4) Dancer (who dances with laxmi)
5) An ideal son (who obeys moms orders to take catherine to safety durning anti-british and partition riots)
6) An ideal lover (who doesnt do it with catherine and remains loyal to laxmi)
and of course
7)An ideal friend (who saves catherine from anti britishers, a despo prince ,rioteers and all )
How can a single guy have so many qualities at one time...woh to purush
hi nahi...mahapurush hai !!!
You have to see laxmis dance to believe it..she dances on floor,whether
shes standing,sleeping,rolling,crawling....
she dances on trees, she dances on ropes,u name a place..she'll dance
there...that too with amazing elasticity !!
During the journey (which is frought with violence)..they romance the
hindu way (by prayin in ganga) the muslim way (during a nawabs party) and the christian way (in a church).
At the end of which manages to take her safely to delhi
Then our warrior poet says ''yeh to pyar ka ardh viram hai..poorna viram
nahi....pyar to vakya ki tarah nirantar....zzzzzzzzzzzz''
and after explaing to her the grammatical syntax of true love ...says
tata and returns home....
clap clap clap clap... finally our hero has returned home and so can we...!!!
The music is overused at times..and the songs are frankly not that good. They don't go with the movie somehow.
