I traveled today by kingfisher red from bangalore to chennai IT-2409 , from the beginning it was an unpleasant experience...There was no one to guide in the queue in bangalore intl airport..it was reminding me of queue in railway stations for unreserved tickets...worst our queue did not move for about 15 minutes and the staff is the only solace...
The flight was about to take off at 2:30 pm but took off only at 2;40, the shocker was yet to come, when the flight was steady on air we were expecting some food to be served , to our rude shock they charge for food..and you know their menu is not affordable to all...
They may have a policy of not serving food free, but they have to keep in mind that the flight departs at 2:30 pm and it takes good 1and half hour to reach bangalore airport from city...so anyone will have to leave home at 12:30 to catch this flight, and they would not have had lunch at 12:30 noon.
Considering this and the exorbitant ticket cost, I think Kingfisher airways is supposed to serve lunch at noon flights...do not forget that we have paid almost 5k per ticket ( one way) and we were starving through out our 45 mts journey....
