I am king club member so I fly in kingfisher whenever I have to fly to accumulate points. They have good flights, clean. Air hostess as everyone knows are the most popular. But is it really worth the price you pay for the tickets?
Pros:
1) Flight in good condition, and maintained and cleaned properly.
2) Attendants at the airport are warm and welcoming. They help to pick up luggage and check in.
3) Online booking is easier and Kingfiher facilitates online booking as you will also accumulate more reward points.
4) They have good alliances with many hospitality players to get services like hotel booking, cab facility, shopping, etc.
5) The best part is that each time you fly you get points which you can redeem for free tickets later. You can convert other partners points accumulated to Kingfiher points.
All the pros if you notice will be outside the airlines.
Cons:
1) The biggest problem is in side the aircraft and you wait to fly. You most of the time keep waiting. The delays are so frequent. Even you board the flight on time still the craft will get delayed. And this is not only Mumbai or Delhi but most the airports in India.
2) Food quality is pathetic. You will feel that its better to travel in No frills airlines then sit in Kingfisher and eat the pathetic food. I never liked the food.
3) Many people have commented on the Air hostesses not being warm/friendly, I agree to the same.
Flight is in bad shape because of the extra expenses they incur on showing the airlines as best but I think the management should spend and focus more on the operations than the glamour. I am still holding the membership but do not prefer this airlines.
