After returning from the Middle east, I have eventually settled down in Bangalore. However, forever, a rolling stone, I utilise the holidays here to travel quite a bit. I may call myself completely "shot" by the camera. So, to cut a long story short-I travel quite a bit. Part of that travel happens by air. Compared to many other airline(I wont' call Indian Airlines or Air India Airlines but just carriers), I have found Kingfisher Airlines comparatively better.
The branding itself is slightly sensual. At the airport itself I find an effort to differentiate their services. The attendants help you with the luggage, the ladies behind the counter are much more service -orientated than others. Yes, there have been slight deviations at times which corrects itself with a stern look. if one is travelling lightly, I have seen their efforts in issuing boarding passes through their mobile POS.
Though the quantity of food has definitely suffered maybe due to recession, there seems to be obvious efforts it its presentation. The air hostesses are not only pretty, but pretty handy as they are able to help a passenger with problems be with the seat or the video. There seems to be two different standards as far as the ground staff and flying staff are concerned. The flying staff are much better looking.
Overall, a good experience. The only complaint I have is the miles they load on King Club programme is way too low for redemption. despite close to 12-13 flights, I can do nothing with my points. otherwise, I think I will still fly Kingfisher.
