I flew with Kingfisher last July for the first and the last time. Due to communication problems I missed my Jet airways flight from delhi to pune and had to take the next available flight.
After missing my flight I ot a refund voucher from the Jet staff with a bit of trouble but that was not that bad. They assisted me by calling Kingfisher and checking the pricing and booking a seat for me over the phone. at that time I was told by that the ticket will cost me 6800/- but I will have to come to the airport to get the ticket.
Finally I went from one terminal to the other terminal to get the tickets and board my flight to pune. After reaching the airport I was informed that the ticket will now cost me 7400/- instead of 6800/ and top of that they dont accept debit cards. So I told them that I am getting cash from the ATM.
So went inside the terminal by taking an entry ticket and got cash. Now after reaching the ticket counter same ticket was costing 9400/- Ihad to fight with them and get to a manager to get the ticket at same price.
Finally I got a manual ticket and the booking clerk assigned me a seat from her systems. The seat no assigne to me was 2A since I had asked for front seat. Now I proceeded for checking to get rid of my baggage and the checkin clerk informed me that they have not yet begun the checkin for the pune flight and I will have to wait. Also she was not able to find the seat that was assigned to me. I again had to speak to a manager to get a boarding card issued which again was done manually i.e. no computer involved.
After this I spoke to the thier duty manager who colsoled me and told that these some pf the teething problems since they are a new airline and assured me that I will have the most plesant flight.
Now on borading the flight I saw that someone else was sitting on my seat since it was allocated to someone else as well. upon asking for the duty manager I was deined for that and had to sit in a non reclining.
Worst flying experience I have ever had.
