Kingfisher really a king. Review on Kingfisher Airlines

I was very eager to travel by kingfisher airlines as it is owned by Mr.Vijay Mallya and he is known to do everything in style. So I was very keen to travel on his airline. I got that oppurtunity on 11th Nov.05 to fly on the Delhi - Mumbai flight while returning from Nainital.

As we reached Delhi airport, the moment our car stopped on the airport we were received by the airline staff with a warm welcome & inquiring whether we were flying by their airline. As soon as we said yes our luggage care was taken by them, right from getting it down from the car carrier to loading it on the trolley, putting tags on it, screening it for us & giving us our hand luggage to proceed to the check-in counter. Then after checking in & taking our boarding passes we were waiting in the lounge for security check. But unfortunately our flight was delayed by one and half hour. But it was very nice of the airline staff to apologize for the delay & offer us some snacks & drinks on the house which other airlines like the Air Deccan don't bother to do.

After we boarded the flight we were welcomed by the cheerful & goodlooking air hostesses with their attractive uniforms. The aircrafts are too good with each passenger having a screen in front of their respective seats to watch the entertainment channels provided or to listen to the music. You are given headphones which are complimentary & can be taken home as most indians have a tendency to do that. The food was great in terms of quality as well as quantity. The kids were given a small keychain of a miniature kingfisher aeroplane which has light in it as well as makes a similar noise as of a real aircraft. On the whole our two hour flight was very cheerful and worth its cost. I really think that very soon Kingfisher airlines will conquer the indian skies and will be the king of domestic airlines.
