Red is good. Review on Kingfisher Airlines

Recently I had an oppertunity to travell on Kingfisher from bangalore to Delhi. Before kingfisher I have had travelled on Jet, Sahara and Spice Jet also. Let me put down my expriences in a cronological order. 1. Booking the tickets: Kingfisher has a very robust site which allows travellers to book tickets online. You need to book quite early to get a good price(I booked 3 months ago to get best price). Rescheduling charges are quite low at Rs 200. Cancellation can be done over the net or over the phone(toll free number). Cancellation charges are Rs 500. Cancellation can be done upto 2 hrs prior to the flight(best time among all other airlines). One drawback of cancellation is that you do not get your money back. All you get is credit points that you have to use to buy another kingfisher ticket only. These points are valid for 13 months. 2. Check in Counter: The staff here is quite helpfull. They sometimes help you unload from the taxi also! The politness of the counter employees acceptable. The maximum weight of the checkin baggage at 25kgs is the highest among all the airlines. My checkin baggage was 2kgs over the weight limit and the person at the check in counter made no fuss about it(as compared to the big fuss made by jet ppl on my previous travel). 3: In the plane: The employees are quite polite and well dressed and ofcource good looking ;-) The announcements made are quite clear. The food served was quite tasty. They also have tv screens attached to each seat and a welcome pouch is given to each traveller. The welcome pouch consists of headphones, a pen and some other stuffs. Pros: 1. Easy booking. 2. Shortest time for cancellation. 3. Helpfull staff. 4. Good food. 5. Good service 6. Good entertainment(TV screen showing recorded programmes) 7. Free headphones. 8. Pretty airhostesses. Cons: 1. No money refunded on cancellation. 2. Higher costs of tickets as compared to other airlines.
