What Do I Say..
BORING
I dont know about the historical inaccuracy part. But if you plan to go for the movie coz this is from the Gladiator guy, you might have doubts about Gladiator too.
Whats This All About???
Balian- the blacksmith (Orlando Bloom) travels to Jerusalem (after murdering a priest) to join his Father,Godfrey (Liam Neelson) whome he has just discovered is his dad; to fight to defend Jerusalem from its muslim invaders so that he could wipe away the sins of his wife who would be sentanced by god to eternal hell because she committed suicide. Then the movie shows us,how Balian becomes an expert swordsman by undergoing a fast-track training (lasting for about 3 to 4 minutes) which ends with his father being hit by an arrow from the enemies. The story also shows how easily he becomes the leader of the defenders of Jerusalem and how he fights to defend the city from a hard, sensible and copassionate enemy - Saladin (Ghassan Massoud). Meantime, Balian manages to find his love interest -Sibylla (Eva Green) - who indeed is a beautiful lady. If you consider my review and writing style bad, then much worse is the movie. Reading my own review, I feel that I have written about some other movie.
