Hi all,
i bought kinetic nova 135 almost 1 month back. following are the comments I would like to give on the product based on my experience so far.
1) Mileage - 50-52 kms/liter - this depends lot on driver, road conditions, traffic and distance travelled
i am an average driver. I dont exceed 50 kmph normally. roads I generally travel on are in good condition and above average. traffic is bad in bangalore. I travell normally 50-60 kms/day (on weekdays)
2) Looks - Very good looking and attractive. I have purchased red color and its really attractive schooter. the counter part; honda activa; is simple in looks. nova 135 has better looks and styling
3) Rider comfort - rider comfort is normal to good. seats are comfortable. handling is good.
4) pillion comfort - the back seat is higher than the front seat (there is only single seat, but is elevated). the foot rest for pillion are higher and uncomfortable for both rider and pillion. for a person less than 5 ft 5 inch height, pillion seat is high (pillion cannot put his/her feet on ground)
5) maintanance - so far I have done only 1 free services. there are no additional costs I have incurred on the bike. I hope this will continue in future too. but I think, parts for kinetic are cheaper and easily available in market.
6) lights - head lights are weak. it is very difficult to see the road when u r riding in a normal road at night. ( u can see the road when there is absolute darkness on the road)
7) baggage capacity - very good. kinetic nova claims that it can carry 2 helmets inside the trunk. I dont quite agree to this. casue after putting 1 helmet, I have little space for other stuffs. but still overall capacity is good.
8) Horn and other accessories - just fine. average to good
9) services - this depends on type of delear u are dealing with. but overall it is satisfactory.
10) balance at high speeds - I havent drove more than 60 kmph. but at 60kmph nova 135 is stable and does not vobble at all.
11) front shock absorbers - wear/soft. even a small pit in the road can shack the entire scooter. the entire shock is transfred to the rider.
overall, I am happy with the product and I would reccomend that people who are planning to buy a scooter in this category shd definately give it a try.
