Hi Guys - I did not write a review earlier because I thought a bike of Aquila stature does not need me to write glowingly about it.. but since someone has been silly enough to dismiss it, I thought I should write..

Simply speaking, the Aquila is leaps and bounds beyond eliminator or RD350. There is no comparison to this cruiser.

First of all, it has a V twin engine. This is an amazing technology- never before in India. And anyone who knows bikes will tell you clearly that in a cruiser a v twin is a must. Because a single cylinder will never give a cruiser the kind of balance and stability required for cruising comfort at high speeds. The Aquila features a 250cc v twin engine with a mind blowing 26 bhp of power! Also the bike looks incredibly beautiful - its BIG, it has alloy wheels, a twin silencer and is swathed in chrome everywhere. A cruiser must make a strong style statement, and give the signal of exclusivity..

If you dont believe me when I say that the Aquila is THE bike in the country, read any auto expert magazine. Autocar india has clearly said that if you have the money, this is the bike to buy this year. AS for the price, 1.5 lakhs may appear steep to you, but its actually a damn great price for a foreign bike. I wish I could afford it, unfortunately I dont make enough money; but if I could have I surely would have. I saw this bike at the Bombay Expo and have been in LOVE with it ever since... in fact I even dream about it at night! ha ha..
