I am a PROUD owner of Kinetic Blaze. I was one of the first to get my hands on this beauty. In fact, I had postponed my purchase until this was launched; as I had read much about it in Overdrive and it was just what I was looking for. Yes, the launch got a bit delayed compared to promises but then yes, the BLAZE is definitely worth the wait.
By now, I think everybody has seen it on the road and probably read enough about it to understand the specifications, features and looks etc. IF not, please you may read other reviews of mouthshut or you may visit to https://kineticblaze.com which is quite informative. I will not elaborate on all that again. Rather, I will speak about my experience as an actual owner and user of six months.
When you are buying a two wheeler, your first question mark is always on quality. Will quality be up to the mark? how about after 3 months, 6 months, 5000 kms etc. Well, having used the Blaze for 6 months and clocked 6400 kms on it, I can say confidently that THE QUALITY IS GOOD. IN FACT, IT IS BETTER THAN THE BAJAJ PULSAR 150 WHICH I WAS USING BEFORE THIS. We must remember that scooters or bikes are machines, and for good lasting performance, it is up to the owner also to ride properly and maintai his machine well. I am always good and careful about such things, and Blaze has not disappointed me. In fact, I even took the Blaze to Mahabaleshwar, quite a long ride and it did well.
I get a mileage of 38 kmpl in city and about 45 on highways. Which I am happy with. My Pulsar used to give me about 42 in city and 50 on highway so not much difference in mileage really; but big improvement in ride experience and quality/reliability.
My dealer in Pune (Kinetic Automatics near Symbiosis grounds) has been good and provided good quality servicing on time without hitch. So no complaints there also. All in all, my experience with KINETIC and BLAZE has been much better than my experience with BAJAJ and PULSAR. So I would recommend all of you looking for a good two wheeler to select the BLAZE and take good care of it, it will serve you well for a long time.
