I bought a Kinetic Nova 115 in 2002. Good vehicle all good except the day you need a spare part. Most of the dealers have closed down Kinetic dealership mainly because of support & spare parts non availability and have become dealers of Activa.
Even now I am facing problem in getting spares and now my carburetor needs replacement and no dealer has that and say may take 2 to 3 months to get it, which I doubt Are we to throw the vehicle because you dont get a spare parts. Most of the manufacturer withdraw certain models without making arrangements for its spare parts ( Expected life of a vehicle).
We are in India and in India a person does not follow the style of use & throw after shelling out Rs 40000 +. If anyone from Kinetic or its sister concern company ) is seeing this, please dont withdraw a vehicle 2 years after its launch with no spares stocked. Govt should make policy that the manufacturer should stock critical spares for the expected life time of a vehicle.
I am planning to buy an electric scooter but I do not know what will be its fate for spares after 3 years. Can anyone help me with a Nova 115 Carburetor.
