I am not really into book-reading that much, however, I have a few friends that are voracious readers. All of them own a kindle paperwhite Wi-Fi and they all have positive experiences to share with me. That is what I would try to jot down in my review here.
First, Kindle Paperwhite Wi-Fi has a sturdy body and it actually looks like a single piece. I had earlier held Kindle 4 in my hands and I could feel a lot of parts moving here and there in it. However, Kindle Wi-Fi looks and feels like a single piece. The back-light of this device is probably the best part about it. You can adjust the back-light and it does not strain your eyes even when you are reading at night. Unlike the previous editions, the Kindle Paperwhite's interface is more graphical and user-friendly. It also has the option of Wi-Fi connectivity this time.
Another great thing about the Kindle Wi-Fi is its low battery consumption. Even after using it constantly for 2-3 hours, very little battery is lost. The batter size is bigger than the previous versions. Adding to that, it does not take much time to charge the device to the maximum. The screen is sharper this time with a resolution of 300 PPI. You can also easily upload books online and the touch-screen is pretty smooth to use too.
However, the device sometimes lag a bit and you would also be bombarded by few Amazon ads which can be annoying. With a price-tag of around INR 11k, this is a must-have product for all the nerds.
