I was not able to sync my Kindle Fire books with my new Paperwhite. One day, I talked to 4 people for an hour each nobody knew how to fix it. Finally, someone said it was a system wide problem and they were going to write a ticket for engineering and call me back the next day. They didn't call back, but I figured how to use Whispersync and did it myself.
Today, the person who said she'd call back yesterday, and didn't called today at about 5 pm and didn't admit anything. I am very disappointed in the Customer Service available. Often, it was hard to understand the broken English these people were speaking, which makes the whole experience more difficult. Also, I agree that the background isn't white it's grey, even at the brightest setting.
