DISCLAIMER: PLEASE DO NOT READ MY REVIEW IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN WATCHING THE MOVIE AND DONT WANT TO GET SPOILED! ITS A REVIEW SO LET ME REVIEW IT!

So they all started in flashback style, like the movie Goonday, the two guys, the central characters of the movie, Dev(Ranveer Singh in an oldie hairstyle, the Veeru of the pair), and Tutu (Seriously!)(Ali Zafar, the Jai of the Pair), and they're recording a video. And while doing this they also told us(the bechare viewers, one of which played by me) that how someone abandoned them on the streets to the licking of dogs, and how Bhaiyyaji (literally!)(played by handsome Govinda) bring them to his house and become a father figure for them, and since Bhaiyyaji was a goon, they also started killing people like knife is cutting butter! One fine day, just like that our hero Dev ki ankhiya ladofy with the woman of the film Disha(Now, this one's a sarcastic name, coz the movie was actually a direction-less movie, still it has a character named Disha!)(played by none other than latest heart-throb Parineeti Chopra) who is also kind of samaj-sevak(she used to help criminals start a new life when they come out of jails), though didn't look like one certainly, as per her lifestyle and discos and all(well it could be Page 3 inspired), both are young and fall in love, easily, and this irk Bhaiyyaji, and then Blah Blah happens in ajeebogarib style, where we also saw a look-alike of Ranveer singh(Bhaiyyaji's left hand, played by let me google him ) It looks like I was watching a musical drama, and then director seems so confused as how to advance the movie further, he ends it, just like that!

In the whole movie, the only good thing was Ali Zafar's character and acting, since his character demands less of loudness, as his character was more of Jai types, more on serious note, so in a loudy-overacting dramatic style of setup, it came as a relief. Govinda was simple wasted, no character was developed properly, they are just thusofy in the movie to just shoot it, to just make a movie, and everybody asked to overact, so somehow Govinda looks good, here-and-there(Comeon yaar! He's the superstar Govinda), but other actors, just waste, even the old hairstyle of Ranveer can't save him, and there's no fault of Parineeta since she acted as what was asked of her. The actor who played Bhaiyyaji's left hand though provoke some laugh. And 2 songs were good - the title track Kill Dil & Bol Beliya, but just to watch these 2 songs you should watch the movie, well I don't recommend you, youtube is there. You know what, there are total of 8 songs packed in a total duration of 2 hrs, title track comes during title, starting half hr you get total 3 songs, total 4 just before interval which comes exactly after 1 hr(actually after 1.5 hrs, if you went to the cinemahall I went, one pathetic outlet of PVR, half hr just of advertisements!), and remaining 4 in 2nd half, ending the credits with 1 of them.

I don't know what directions Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy got from the director Shaad Ali(who made Saathiya & Bunty aur Babli), so that they gave very odd kind of music, I liked 2 songs which are odd enough but overkill will kill you for sure, and even Gulzar's lyrics cannot save the dubofy boat. I haven't watch Jhoom Barabar Jhoom movie still, but heard it was one of the worst movies, well, this one may qualify on top of it, all blames RGV, but we know about him, don't we, why can't others be blamed! Some dialogues are good, no doubt, like when Govinda says "Ladki ghumani hai, jeb mein haath daala, kya niklega paisa, etc etc" and then "Par agar jeb fati ho to jeb mein haath daaloge to kya niklega. GHANTA!" and some more(though this one was the only double-meaning dialogue). And who the hell gave the background score, pakad ke lao zara usko! very loud background score, anything happens, pe pe pe, especially the kill dil theme, whenever the 2 lead characters goes on a kill, the theme started playing, are yaar, you always kill in the theme music only, you guys are actually overdoing it, and it kills, seriously, it was like watching a bollywood action/comedy/drama movie listening to hollywood fantasy movie music. Story ki to baat mat karo, they just kill someone, and then again kill someone else, even till the end I was not able to understand why they're killing, and was they supposed to fall this way, I am confused as which half of the movie I should rate more, coz both the halfs are equally pathetic, and the climax, OMG! Shaad Ali actually get bored by making this direction-less movie so he decided to end it quickly, and he ends it!

LAST WARNING: Vaidhanik Chetawani: Kill/Dil dekhna aapke swasthya ke liye haanikarak hai. Krupya ise chhod de. Yup! Watch Kill/Dil if you're okay with loud and dramatic acting, watch it if you're just interested in watching Govinda/Ali Zafar/Ranveer Singh/Parineeta Chopra and it doesn't matter to you whatever they do, watch it if you dont mind a no-story-movie, watch it if you like overkill style, watch it if you wanted to see odd-music songs(excepts Bol Beliya and title track, they're really good), and that too total of 8 songs in just 2 hrs duration, 4 interval se pehle 4 interval ke baad. But if you dont like any of the above, main aapke aage haath jodta hoon, please dont watch this movie, My dil was killed by this movie, just giving 1.5/5 only for Ali Zafar and a little of Govinda plus 2 songs which I liked.
