Kidnap should be kidnapped out of bollywood. Review on Kidnap

After much hyped-up expectations about this movie, it turned out to be a huge disaster. Everyone was expecting some spectacular action thriller with Imran Khan donning the role of a bad man in his second most movie only. But among all the 'hoo-hallah' about this, it was a total dud!

The movie is about a kidnap of daughter of a millionaire by a guy who holds some grudge against him for something that happened about 10 years back. Looks like a strong plot? It could have been if it has not been so loosely executed in the movie. For me, the movie was full of bad dialogues, bad acting and lots of cleavage by two females in the film. Sanjay Gadhvi, as in his every film, has made another actress to wear a bikini and get into sea. Isn't that getting too typical of him?? I think he needs to grow out of this bikini-mania of his??

Imraan Khan was looking OK in his role of Kabir but I would say wasn't able to successfully justify the character he was portraying. There seems to be missing a certain cruelty, a certain anger, a certain rage which this chracter strongly demanded. But instead, accompanied by pathetic dialogues, he was not able to give any spine-chilling experience out of Kabir.

Minisha Lamba did nothing in the movie except bath in her skimpy clothes and bikinis, show lots of cleavage throughout the movie and did some pretty bad acting. Although looking very hot with her newly toned up body, but was it really necessary in the movie??? There was not a moment in the movie where you feel that this girl is in captivity of the guy.

Sanjay Dutt was the best amongst the three main actors. Although it was evident that he is old now and in a particular chase scene it was quite visible that he is not in his original shape anymore. But at least he was watchable in this whole blunderous movie.

The climax of the movie was so cold that the movie left no mark on anybody present in the hall. The movie did started off brilliantly but somehow left its track in the middle and completely derailed towards the end. I wouldn't recommend watching this in cinemas. Sit home and enjoy Indian Idol 4 instead.

And last thing, how did Sanjay Gadhvi thought of giving Vidya Malwade role of Minisha's mom???????? I'm still shocked!!!!!!
