Teaching Revenge on Gandhi Jayanti ?. Review on Kidnap

A jam packed crowd in the hall anticipating a superb romantic Thriller full of suspense sees nothing but disappointment.

The Plot : The plot is very poor and am amazed why big shots like Sanjay Dutt accepted this role. The greatest thing shown in this movie is that when Imrans best friend is hurt in the orphanage he doesnt run to get a Taxi but opts to steal the Merc of Sanjay Dutt... Wah !! Wah Bhai Wah!!! Justification of  the crimeby the director is not digestible I am sure I would need a hell a lot of Hajmola for that. The Kid is sent to juvenile jail  (I feel it was the right place for him) and he is ill-treated over there by inmates and Jailer.

What else would you expect in a Jail. In jail he learns a lot of stuff along with building his body up to take revenge.This is the second most ridiculous stuff in this movie that teaches to take revenge and look at the irony the movie was released on Gandhi Jayanti.

So now this young hero returns from the juvenile jail with a vengeance. And what does he do ? Kidnap the innocent daughter who wears nothing else than bikini and even lesser cloths. I wonder who changed the dress of Minisha as she was kidnapped while she was wearing a bikni and swimming in the sea but woke with a entire different attire.

The whole movie shows shoot of foreign locations beaches and make us believe the movie is still shot in Mumbai..

The scene where Sanjay dutt is asked to meet the sister Marget and he drives like hell to reach her did any one notice the black merc which he steals amidst the traffic is the same one that Imran had stollen years ago with registration number 9111. (I am not becomming sherlock homes .....)

One scene really make me jump out of curiosity from my seat when Imran had captured sanju baba and had chained him in one hand (The other was totally free) he stands near Sanju baba . I am sure Sanju baba could have grabbed him in one hand and choked him to death (Leave it ... This is a hindi movie and anything could happen)

I dont know why rahul Dev did not make a entry in the last again in the climax like old hindi villains to even more make the ending interesting.. I am sure that was in the mind of the director too ... I can't guess who changed the script...

Cast :No one other than Sanjay dutt did justification to their roles.. Sanjay Dutt rocks and could be one reason for you to watch the movie..  The other reason could possbily be how minisha lamba is dressed up... I am not trying to be mean but could not control my anxiety either... Not that minisha lamba is sexy but guess what anyone with such dresses would look .... hmmm.. I hope you are getting my point... Vidya Malvade looked no close to being Minisha MOm.... But she tried her best to look like Sanjays wifee....  Rahul dev tried to be a bit realistic but his role was dampened .... The lack of comedians were not let felt by the stupid interactions of father and daughter when being held together by Imran.

Sound Track : No other song in the movie other than the title track seemed intersting or in the right place... songs shouted out loud saying that they were just for the sake of count...

Cinematography :The cinematography was good and subdued by the badness of all other aspects of the movie..

If you ask me ... Do avoid watching this movie unless you are planning to watch it with your date and want ample time to get to know each other... The whole movie is in darkness I would suggest you to book the corner seats ....
