After Dabang 2 and Jai HO I had decided not to watch Bhai's new movie in first week. Kick's first promo strengthened my stand I had decided to miss it. However, around 2 weeks back they had this new trailer with train action sequence (I actually jumped from my seat on watching it first time )lot of persuasions and I decided to get my self kicked.
Watching first half is like getting kicked only, for once I thought I was watching JAI HO 2 and I was worried how I would spent new 2 hours in theatre. Beautiful, gorgeous and pretty Jacklin was only relief other than good songs and good cinematography. Salman , Mithoon and Archana puran Singh failed to impress. Than came Randeep Hooda (thanks Bro for some sensible work), movie picks up post Hooda and for few minutes I felt movie had some story.
Second half marks entry of Nawazudin and I enjoyed his work. Some action scenes are also good. Movie picks up little bit but it lacks flow, it lacks story telling and of course editing could have been much better. I fail to figure out how Salman came back from Poland ????? So after a good start 2nd half disappoints towards end.
Movie has a social message but believe me instead of spending some 15 minutes of movie on that if Bhai could have said it in a one minute trailer before movie starts it would had same impact or better than spending 15 minutes of movie on that. Its not required that all movies of Bhai have a social message.
I am not sure why but all his movies are like this only Dabang 1, D2, Jai ho and now this movie. Bhai is good actor but producer and directors are not utilizing that actor they are just using his charisma( which will never end). Some where fans like me feel hurt after not watching new content from Sallu movie.
While returning I heard some RJ giving 4 stars to movie with 3 to Bhai and 1 to all others . I have a different opinion 3 stars to movie, 1 each to Bhai and Hooda and .5 to Nawaz and Jacky ( For good acting and that sizzling dance).
