Ki & Ka was one of the most talked about film as it was suppose to break gender barrier and shatter assumptions in general.
But it failed miserably to deliver on those grounds. Kareena Kapoor is Ki and Arjun Kapoor plays the role of Ka in this story of role reversals.
Both of them are poles apart and want different things, that is why they fit so perfectly together in the equation of marriage. At least that is what it looks like in the beginning. But soon the curtains fall and the real truth about their unusual marriage is revealed.
The actors are good at what they do, but I can not say the same about the story. Everything else is good, music, direction, but since the story is not good, everything else just fades away. R Balki's Ki & Ka was not about equality, in fact it was about putting one above another. The story lacks a strong plot and I was disappointed by it.
The trailers promised something else and the film delivered something entirely different. Marriage is not about putting each other down, it is about lifting each other up. Ki & Ka is an average film, with poor storyline, okayish acting and a lot of drama.
