Khuswant Singh was among the best known journalists of our nation. I have read his articles, books and listened to his profound words.
Now, many claim that Sikhs are very brash and arrogant people but Khushwant Singh with his witty nature demolished this myth.
He kept on writing jokes on himself often masquerading them as santa and banta -two friends.
Take for instance, his funny take on Punjab- The only culture known in Punjab is agriculture or Banta: I gave you lift on this spacious bullock cart but why are you still carrying that load on your head! Santa: Because, my conscience does not allow me to over burden your poor bullock!
It is a good book!
