On 6th Nov (saturday) arnd 6.30 pm, I and 2 of my colleagues walked into the Bajaj Probiking showroom at 100ft road Indiranagar, Bangalore, to check out and book a test drive for Kawasaki Ninja (I have one in Delhi and I had recommended it to my friends).

After speaking to the sales rep and booking a test drive we where checking out the bikes at the showroom, my friend sat on one of the bikes. At this moment the security guard approached us and started talking in a rude manner asking us to get of the bike. Not wanting to create any unpleasantness

My friend got off and started walking. however, instead of stopping , the guard further followed him and started muttering more abuses.

Shocked at this behavior, we called the sales guy and told him what had happened. While he was trying to explain to the guard that he should not talk to the customers like this, a Rowdy looking stout middle-aged man got up and intervened , shouting and asking us "who we think we are and where we are from ". As he was taking the side of the security guard and supporting his improper behavior.

We asked him to call the manager and told him that the staff should learn to behave with the customers. He replied that he was the manager and there was no one else we could speak to. Judging from his ill manners and appearance (he was possibly drunk) I was sure that he wasnt the manager so I  asked him to show his card to prove that. He became really agitated at that and he asked to to come outside and "he will show me who he really is" !

In the meanwhile the sales guy had called the real manager who all the while didnt step in to diffuse the matter. I asked for his card , which he gave me (Syed Mohiyuddin - Manager). I spoke to him in a very polite manner explaining him the behavior of the security gaurd and the other person on his premises.

The rowdy looking person was still shouting and kept asking us "where we are from" but we ignored him.two other customers sensing trouble walked out of the showroom. As we were also feeling uneasy by now, we decided to leave.

As we we leaving the Rowdy looking person followed us to the door and when we stepped out he started shouting from behind again, saying that if we should settle the issue (?) outside. We didn't pay attention to him and started walking off but that did not deter him as he was bent on picking on us. He called us "bloody north Indians" and "Ch$tiya" from behind at which point I shot back asking him to shut up.

What happened next was unimaginable - he called the guard and attacked me right in front of the showroom. My friends tried to hold him back, and after a scuffle I managed to get free,

but they damaged my clothes and had pulled off the chain I was wearing (which I didn't realize then).

All 3 of us were too dazed and shocked by what had happened. In the meanwhile the Manager (Mr. Syed Mohiyuddin ) came out asked us NOT to make a complaint about the incident. I told him that we definitely would, and he said that If you do then I will loose my job, so please don't make a complaint. He added that if he loses his job , he is going to

"find out who I am , and will make sure to finish me"

I work with a Fortune 100 MNC company and I have already taken up the matter with the legal and Admin department of my organization and we are contemplating legal/ police action. I have posted this issue to on our intranet site advising employee's against Khivraj motors/ Bajaj.

Also, Given the grave nature of the incident I have put this post to various online forums, newspapers and other media.

I urge Bajaj to investigate this matter further from their end to come out with the truth, as the reputation of Bajaj auto is at stake
