I expected some reviews on this movie, but could see none more.....so I decided to write one by myself.....I hope I will have your views in the comments section soon enough.....

INTRODUCTION

The Khiladi series was what gave Akshay Kumar the image of an action hero and lead to some non-stop action movies like Insaaf, Daava, Barood, Keemat, Tu Chor Main Sipahi, Tarazu, Zulmi etc which didn't seem much interesting. But the Khiladi factor impressed me a lot in the early 90s.

But the thrill of Khiladi and Sabse Bada Khiladi, the dialogues of Main Khiladi Tu Anari, the action of Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, and the comedy of Mr & Mrs Khiladi didn't continue to International Khiladi (Wasted especially Twinkle Khanna) and Khiladi 420 (Mahima Chowdary proves that she can be the worst).

I think that the best action movie of the series was Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi because of its intense fighting sequences beginning with the wrestling match between The Undertaker and Crush and ending with The Undertaker and Akshay Kumar.

Loads of action is stored inside. But the climax didn't seem good enough that may have been the weakest point of the film as it was just typical to some old Hindi movies where the hero takes some beating initially and then comes back like a super hero.....I just hate that.

THE MOVIE

When getting into the movie, this is a must for each and every action fan as there is not even a moment in the movie which is not thrilling or exciting. WWE fans will just love it. The movie is very fast paced and it goes very smooth and straight so that we don't have any difficulties. It is a gem in the Khiladi series even if the first one had most suspense than all. The songs are good even if not the best. The soundtrack adds to the thrill.

I have watched this movie for six times now, and I am thinking about keeping a copy of the movie at home as I may not be able to rent a CD or DVD of the film each and every time I want to see it. I think it is worth it. I hope that atleast some of you think so as this movie is not for all kinds of people.....

THE PLOT

The plot seemed good right from the very beginning. The movie starts with a fight between The Undertaker and Crush who are the fighters of the underworld dons Madam Maya (Rekha) and King Don (Gulshan Grover) respectively and the latter fails and thus lose five million dollars which was the bet.

Akshay (Akshay Kumar) comes to the movie searching for his one and only young brother - even if he doesn't seem that much young. He was trapped by Maya herself and was wanted for murders which he had no part in. Akshay then tries to join Maya's gang and search for his brother in which he succeeds.

He seems to be using his brains very much and takes advantage of each and every situation. He pretends to love her avoiding his earlier sweet heart Priya (Raveena Tandon) who is also the sister of Maya. He is even successful in setting the dead man (Undertaker) against Maya with his word power.

What will happen when Madam Maya comes to know that Akshay had been cheating her? Will she come to know it? Will Akshay Kumar be able to save or atleast see his brother again? What will be the state of Priya? What will be King Don and the ultimate monster the Undertaker have in store for them? Will Akshay face the same fate of Crush? Just see the movie and get the answers.....

PERFORMANCE

What can I say about performance? The job was really good enough. It was really stunning to see the Undertaker. Each and every move was simliar to that in WWE, the tombstone piledriver, chokeslam, DDT, back breaker along with those ''dead'' facial expressions just like coming straight out of his coffin ie somewhat like a vampire or should I say, a zombie.....Crush seemed good too even if was not half impressive than that of the dead man.

Akshay Kumar, well, he was the action hero of that era and he has shown great flexibilty and aggression in the action scenes. His dialogues were great and he has done some good enough dancing in the process too. His looks and style were promising and none could have done this role better, I think that it is made for this man.

I didn't realise at first, why Rekha's name was shown first in the beginning of the movie. Now I know from her performance that she deserves the first place because she has given her best in the past and she continues her earlier performances now as she has come back strongly and made her presence felt in the movie. She has done the mafia queen, the passionate lover as well as the loving sister well enough.

Raveena Tandon didn't have that much to do except her first meeting with Akshay as well as some sentimental dialogues and dancing with Akshay in some songs. But she was able to do what was expected from her. A good job very well done by her.

Gulshan Grover, the usual villain, still one of the best too didn't have much importance as Rekha was also a partial villain in the movie and the Undertaker was also there. But he has shown his usual styish anti-hero potential in the movie and has done his role without any margin of error. Thats what I call determination. Wow!

CONCLUSION

The only problem is that those who doesn't appreciate action movies may find this movie too violent and disturbing. Well, I don't think this have any of much problems, but I will not recommend this movie for those who likes only family movies and love stories because this one is a thriller in itself and not for the faint hearted ones.

I may be liking this movie because I am an action game lover or a action movie lover or a WWE fan. I know that most of my friends love this movie and they have asked me to write the next review on this one and I was not able to resist it because I'm addicted to this movie even if it has some small flaws, I have to admit. Well, atleast decide it after seeing it once and do add a comment.....
