Take an honest albeit unsuccessful police officer, an officer who knows how to tweak the 'system', a new recruit who is eager to serve the country, two constables, a sexy independent woman and a police officer gone bad.......add a terrorist to the mix ; throw them together on a road-trip ; watch closely for three hours and you have - - khakhee!!

Another great movie from the Santoshi camp. I think he is one of the finest screenplay writer/editor/director we have in Bollywood. And he excels with Khakee.

The plot is quite simple - To bring a terrorist to Mumbai. It has been handled very well, with each sequence ending in a twist. Bound to keep ou guessing till the end!!!

Each character is given one scene which tells you who they are - Amitabh with his introductory speech, Tushaar getting angry at the taxi-driver for offering him a bribe, Akshay trying to con the husband of the girl he has been sleping with, the hawaldaar hitching a ride in a rickshaw and the other hawaldaar conforting his wife (who comes again in the later part of the movie).

Then theyare sent to bring back a terrorist.

Enter, Aishwarya a strong, sexy woman who gets stuck with the team.

Floater - Ajay devgan aka the mystery man fades in and out of the movie, trying to stop them and who somehow is a step ahead of them.

No major flaws. Some good dialogues. Great acting by Amitabh 'angry' Bacchhan, Akshay 'tapori' kumar, Ajay 'surprise' Devgan and Tushar 'sincere' Kapoor.

The movie does seem to loose track for a few scenes right after the interval, but soon picks up the momentum. A few scenes towards the end felt unnecessary (typical bollywood - car blasts, hero-villian fight). But the climax makes up for all !!

Can't write much without giving it away.....so, go and see the movie (if u haven't already!)

Songs- - though melodious, slow down the pace. But, hey how often does one see Miss World(raI) and Miss Universe(duttA) sizziling in the same movie....

Hats off to Santoshi for yet another feather in his hat.....
