This garden will leave you mesmerized. Its one of the largest flower garden in the world located in Lisse, Netherlands. Its an hour's drive from Amsterdam. Season to visit here is during April & May. The flowers look so alluring that you cant stop clicking numerous panoramic pictures. Dedicate an entire day for this colorful stroll which is absolute delight to the eyes.
My travel was in May & the weather was such a bliss. This was the first time I was seeing Tulips & how! There were many other flowers too in full bloom. Unfortunately I dint have more than half day in hand to spend here. But I did manage to capture the beauty of this garden in my mind & camera. One can buy some saplings at the main entrance if interested. Also the wooden tulips sold by the sovereign shops are beautiful & a must buy.
I stayed in a hotel called NH Leeuwenhorst. This hotel is really big & need to walk a lot inside. The rooms were neat but breakfast was really sad. The best part of this hotel is that Keukenhof is just 10mins drive from here. So go for it:-)
