I thought Kesineni was a good travel company since it seems so popular, and I booked it for my Blr-Hyd-Blr trip, but the service is horrible.
Their pick up points are vague and difficult to find. The number they provide to call is often busy or invalid. They do not call the customers when they reach the pick-up point, they leave them and go ahead.
In my experience, the driver/conductor was very rude and refused to give proper directions. Instead of providing clear directions, the driver spent a lot of time shouting over the phone about how people were delaying him by 10 minutes. Even on my return journey, the van was late to the pick-up point and it was very difficult to find. When I tried calling the driver's number, the phone was switched off. When I tried calling the company's customer care, they repeatedly disconnected. It was a headache trying to find the bus. I almost gave up and booked another ticket.
Moreover, me being a woman, the driver had a huge problem that I was choosing to sit in the back seat with a bunch of guys. He repeatedly shouted at me to change my seat but was not able to tell me why I should change it. He declared that ladies should sit in ladies seats only. I found this attitude very irritating but not surprising. I continued to sit in my own seat and finally told him that it will not be his fault "if anything happens." When the bus stopped for dinner and the driver saw that I got down to have a smoke, he asked me why I am bringing cigarettes & lighter on the bus(I bought them when I got down). All in all, I did not care for the bullying coming from him.
The buses are comfortable and clean and they stop at convenient places for dinner etc. but the customer care and the general behaviour towards passengers makes me feel that there are much better options out there. I don't pay 1500 for a journey to be yelled at, bullied, spend half my time running around the city looking for the pick-up point and then be asked to play a constant musical chairs shifting from one seat to another for no good reason. I am sorry, I cannot recommend this travels to anyone.
