I have been traveling through kesari since 2011, India and abroad.I did not find anything bad with their services like some other travelers did.Pre-booking, post booking and on tour I found they are quite good.What has to be improved is as follows:-
A) Have a conference of the group going together to have proper interaction between tour leader and tour members(this used to be earlier when Sr Mr Kesarinathji was conducting the tour) which during my college days say about 30 -35 years ago during the rainy tours in western ghats.
B) The handing over of passports and the other complementary items done on airport must be avoided . Its a humiliating time for persons like us who regularly travel as somebody known meets there and then all those sarcastic remarks start.It looks also very bad that like a big mela or jatra people are collecting complementary items on an international airport.I had written to the earlier MD of Kesari(now MD of Veena world) but till now no change.
The risk is:- suppose say a passport has a error in the visa for abroad tours and you give passport on airport. What can be done at that 11th hour? Who will correct the error on the visa?
C) The new sales and mktg people should be more interactive and must reply to the queries of clients promptly.
This system must be incorporated in the policy.
D) Tour leaders should not make any reimbursement announcements on tours - like river rafting was not done, you will get the reimbursement as it happened in my case during himachal tour and I, like an idiot, was following up with the kesari branch office.
The above details are very small things which affect the business in short or long run. Otherwise all is okay with kesari and I will continue with their services. I have tried many other services but found them to be the best.
