I have a travel job . so I love to get regular massages and have been disappointed so far. This time it was the kerala ayurvedic health spa at prabhadevi. well........... nothing great and trust me u don't need to pay Rs. 1000 or even Rs. 700 for this kind of massage. too oily and too little for the money. I like the place - very ayurvedic but I decided that I would find another place with better massage and more facilities.
I found it in borivali(west). though it is far away from dadar where I stay. once a month is ok. There is a detoxification doctor's clinic called glaycia. the place is small and very homely. the therapists are superqualified and the doctor is very sweet and understanding. she mostly does the treatment for ladies herself. the full body massage (1 hour) cost me just Rs. 550 and with steam Rs. 650. I even got a foot massage cum face massage cum head massage package (90 mins)done for Rs. 450.
And with all this the consultation (1 hour) was absolutely free. I even got a diet formulated just for me for just Rs. 150 via e-mail the next day. I came out feeling so pampered and cared for that I enjoyed good health ever since. I had started going there for chemical peels but now I have made his place permanent for my once a month body pampering.
do check this small, simple and homely place out and enjoy what I did. they have about 1000 procedures but they don't confuse you at all. loved it. I think the e-mail address is glaycia@rediffmail.com. so go ahead.
i will only recommend or go the the kerala ayurvedic health spa only if I can't travel or have no other choice.
