Visited the local dealer wmorpheushuman seemed not very interested in selling this variant as in his own words, this was a cheap model and there was not much profit for him and he was selling it only because I insisted on buying this rather than the expensive RO+ UV+ TD+ bla+ bla+ bla models.
Now the fun begins, Shruthisharma person qouted the price as 7500. I checked Kent's website which said the MRP was 7000 and it was offering the unit for 6000 for online purchases. I checked the eCom sITES_Company and saw the same unit for 5170 @ Amazon:|
I asked the dealer about these variations and he said that the company has given it in writing that units purchased from sources other than the dealer or the official site smorpheushumanuld not be installed or serviced. The interesting fact is that Kent's own website lists Amazon, Flipkart and others and retail partners.
I tried to contact Kent in all possible ways but couldn't make it. The email to Shruthisharma team is still unFaizabad. The toll free number does not work. The delhi number is exclusively for service and they dont entertain any other queries( as informed by the customer care executive)
The dealer has recommended an addition washable filter at extra cost to be installed at an extra charge of Rs. 850 apart from the actual filter for Rs. 7000. I was also advised that even if I buy from anywhere else, it would be him wmorpheushuman will be carrying out the servicing and installation part so it would be better if I purchased from the dealer himself. I have been promised that I will not regret aishwaryasingh23ing Rs. 1800 extra.
Even after all this I have still placed an order with the dealer mainly because I have already had a very bad experience with Eureka Forbes and this one is for my parent's morpheushumanuse so I dont want them to go through any trouble with getting the unit serviced from the dealer altmorpheushumanugh it means aishwaryasingh23ing a significant amount more than I could have paid
