We were using Bottled Water Jars for 2 years due to quality of water in our area and Aquaguard Classic Filter(Basic UV) was unable to clean the tap water to our satisfaction. We decided to switch to KENT SUPER+ RO to avoid erratic availability of Bottled Water Jars.


In February 2012, we bought the KENT SUPER+ RO by calling the call center, who sent company representative to explain us the product and take the order.


The delivery and installation went fine and the product worked well and to our satisfaction. I was happy with this purchase till April 2012(2mths) when the motor pump of the unit started making irritating whistling sound.


I called their service center 022-40532424 twice and on both occasions the lady attendant kept me on hold for long time till I hung up. Finally I asked my wife to call later and she was successful in lodging the complaint with no. 500221638.


The technician called after 2 days and we asked him to come before 12PM, he told he will try and never came or called though we waited for him. When we called the service center they assured us that he will come but no one came that day.


Eventually we agreed to be available at the time convenient to the technician. While attending to the problem he told us plainly that it is normal for the purifier to make such noises as it gets old. On pointing out that it has been just 2 months from purchase and it is still under warranty, he replied that it was old enough for such issues.


I found out about another resident in same building using KENT SUPER RO for over 1 year and asked their feedback about quality, and I heard how unreliable the quality of KENT has been in their opinion.


Clearly the manufactured quality and parts are unreliable and the even support is poor and unable to rectify.


UPDATE 23/05/2012 - The water pump motor has been changed and the issue has been resolved. I hope this machine gives me good experience ahead. Thanks Kent Support Desk and Ms Shilpi for addressing my concern.
