Pirated After Spares and Horrible Service by Kent

I have purchased your Kent Super plus model KR120314292 on 30.09.12 vide advance receipt no. 610 from your dealer M/s Aparna Appliances Regd. Office 136 Thane Road B.T. Road Kolkata 700016. From the day beginning, the performance of the machine and service of the dealer is highly unsatisfactory. Even after repeated requests to them, they have not given me the original invoice copy till date.


Finally the water purifier stopped working on 30.11.12 and I have purchased full set of filters (Membrane+Carbon+Sediment) with FRT by Rs. 3175/- on 14.11.13 after repeated follow-ups. I have taken the spares with good faith and they replaced my RO Membrane from unsealed pack. After questioning, they told that they did not carry the box as it becomes heavier. I allowed to change it with good faith. They tries to take away original one, but I forced them to keep it back in my custody. Again it stopped functioning on 15.02.13. After registering complaint over phone, they have attended to me after two weeks and asked to change pump, but till date they have not attended it. Then I contacted Kent Regional Manager Kolkata Mr. Shankar Banerjee and Mr. Bagchi who advised to contact Sun Service.


After a visit from the technician of Sun Services, I was informed that the RO membrane given by Aparna Appliances is not original and more shocking is that the RO membrane supplied with new equipment is also not original. I have kept the filter with me for further checking and verification of the fact.


This is highly undesirable from the company like Kent. Today I requested to send their authorised service people to check and verify that the spares given by dealer is original or not. If I do not get proper reply and service within 7 days time, I will be compelled to register my complaint in Consumer Forum.


Hope you have understood the gravity of the situation, which is against your reputation and take early action to resolve it.
