I bought this water filter as it was among the better-looking, compact water filters during the time.
Anyway, it turns out this is a rather badly designed water filter. Two major problems should discourage any customer from buying this:
The top part just fits like a lid without any rubber washer/ring to seal the lid well. As a result, ants gather during summer(for the cold water) and then drop into the reservoir! Can you believe this? What's the point of all that filter process when the water cannot be kept sealed from outside impurities, particles and pests?
For every glass of filtered water, about 10 times that amount gets let off through the waste water outlet! The company advises that you can collect and reuse, or redirect that water otherwise but these are all bad solutions to an intrinsically bad design.
Customer Support is one of the worst. Long wait times, poor communication skills and technical knowledge, and they are not interested in rectifying the problem or supporting their product. Only in making you spend more money to get your product fixed.
