Pathetic Customer Service and Quality of Product

I have purchased this equipment based on review comments available in the internet however I am deeply disappointed with the quality of product. Below are list of issues we had within last 16 months.




  1. Within couple of months of purchase of equipment we had issues with water storage sensor.The local customer care team replaced the sensor with local bulb valve later on when we protested they mentioned that Kent water sensor is faulty and they are getting lost of compliant for that and every where they are replacing it with local bulb valve,  after couple of months of continuous protest and complaints they replaced it sensor.




  2. Around 1 year after purchase of equipment we noticed there is mud and sludge in the filtered water so much that water colour has changed to brownish, since we had the plastic cover around the equipment we could not realized it earlier, however we were shocked to find dirty water on the storage tank, it was much dirtier than tap water, we called the help line number and they said since it is outside the warranty period, you need to enrol on AMC and all filters needs to be replaced. We paid around 4800/ rupees for the AMC  to replace all the filter.






We repeatedly asked the technician that why water was having sludge and insects when RO was supposed to block this and even if we say filter was in very bad condition it was supposed to stop filtering and start giving the indication to change filter as mentioned during the sales but NOTHING of this sort happens and we are not sure for how many days we had consumed the dirty water.




  1. Third incident happen after 16 months from the date of purchase( by the way we last month itself had the service done on the equipment, the technician came and mentioned that everything is fine by just checking the TDS which was round 65+ level).




We noticed there is bunch of small insects floating on the water inside the storage tank, we removed the storage tank only to be surprised that there is green layer at the bottom of the tank and bad smell is coming from water, we have raised the complaint and the technician are yet to come.


All in all NO other device has given so much problem as this Kent, they have charge exorbitant price but have not delivered the quality they promised. I will not recommend any one to buy Kent products their sales guy even acknowledge that they charged extra due to brand value, however poor quality of product and service does not make it worth product
